Patty bought the kaleidoscope, two horse ornaments and other parts.  Then, she told a woodworker with fancy tools how to assemble them for her.  

This is a one-of-a-kind musical kaleidoscope carousel. It satisfied her description of a kaleidoscope, meant to be installed within a frame, as specified in her trademark applications.   

It turned out in reality, just as cute and creative as she pictured it in her head.  Light enters the scope through the clear little windows, ringing the scope just above the horses.  You wind the music box key below the base tin.  The eyehole is in the center of the lid tin above.
